Devotee comment: Maybe you can share some realisations about the coming of the next acharya. The one who can clean all this up. I have a feeling that soul won't be in ISKCON or any of the others Mathas.
Srila Gaurahari Das: Well I consider that we are in unique situation. I believe the next Acarya will not necessarily come from outside of ISKCON or any other vaishnava institution. He or she can come inside or outside but will be recognisable Self Effulgent, or not being dependent on using the previous Acaryas, buildings, money, uniform dress, devotees to continue their position as Spiritual Master. Such a personality is the genuine empowered suddha bhakta or devotionally awakened and spiritually mature Vaishnava. Those with a honest heart searching ardently for the truth and not too contaminated by faith in the unqualified imatatiors of the savior position bonafide Spiritual Master will be the first to identify such a devotee. The symptoms of such empowered personalities is that they will naturally explain more clearly the meaning of the verses and deep purports of Srila Prabhupada’s wonderful books better than anyone else, be they past or present day Gurus, Spiritual Masters or even alleged Acaryas. Those who are really not qualified to be a worshipable Spiritual Master, still have not realized the awakening of spontaneous devotion to Krishna, even though they maybe followed by thousands who, because of their Guru lack of real qualification, also don’t have a clear devotional conception what is the pure bhakti potency.
Real Suddha bhakti devotees are genuinely overshadowed by the divine devotional potency of Krishna, therefore their explanations will have real substance to uplift and infuse the spiritual potency increasingly in others and exorcising misconceptions and speculations taken on by hearing from those who have not genuinely realized the awakening of devotion to Krishna. Their Knowledge of the path of pure devotional service will be the result of mercy of the Chit or essence of knowledge bearing potency of Krishna. This awakens simultaneously due to the mercy of relishing the genuine Ananda portion of the personal devotional potency of Krishna. This takes form of the type of Vraja bhakti or uncommon emotional moods, character, and bodily transformations of ecstasy that originally existed in the root origin of our sampradaya, Lord Caitanya, Nityananda.
The real sahajiya are those who lay claim to the position of worshipable vaishnava spiritual master or sampradaya Acarya who’s knowledge of Krishna is still superficial and naturally speculative. Knowledge of even a Brahman, who is not yet devotionally awakened, remains external and superficial because it is not the kind of perfect knowledge that is automatically manifested by revelation or clear conclusive insights into the scriptures by the mercy of the Chit potency portion of the awakening of spontaneous devotion to Krishna.
